Comedy, the lost art.
In any society the ability of it's citizens to laugh, and be merry is a great gauge on its level of success.
This has to be one of the funniest examples of the “lost art” that I have seen in a year.
If it doesn't Embed properly, I'm sorry.

He took 2 interviews with controversial figures, and made them one, it’s just hilarious. The George Carlins, Richard Pryors, and Sam Kinisons of our time will never make it into mainstream comedy. They get cancelled for telling jokes, by the very people who are actually out there committing the stupid acts that these guys just joke about. I fear that Dave Chappelle may be the last comedian out there that just does it for the laughs, but isn’t afraid to push the envelope. The best example of the death of comedy is in watching Saturday Night Live. A show that was once the pinnacle of comedy, and introduced us to up and coming comedians like Chris Farley, Dan Aykroyd, and Mike Meyers has fallen into such unfunny lows. Being able to watch an entire episode without laughing once used to be impossible, now its hard to laugh even once. In a month of Saturday Nights they might pull off one funny clip.
Cancel culture killed comedy, there was always a good laugh at making fun of society, and that is just far too offensive now. In L.A. I would be far too afraid to be arrested for a hate crime just as I was walking off of the stage from finishing a set to even try to do standup there. Florida and less offended places like it, may just be the last stand for comedy, and freedom.

When I got ratioed into oblivion from posting the above meme on Twitter, I began having flashbacks from the last days I spent on Reddit. So I decided to respond with this 👇 only to have my account locked..
This is the moment that I learned the Karen's, and Nation of Cartoon humans we are living in have completely tipped and fallen into the kool-aid. They aren't just drinking it, they are dying their hair with it, bathing in it, and creating shrines to the Kool-aid man. They decide to decapitate their cucumbers, and get all bent out of shape when someone makes a joke. .
How can people doing the most offensive shit, always be offended by literally everything else? Like somehow everything that isn't their preferred offensive thing, becomes so offensive in their eyes that it needs to be banned, silenced, and cast into obscurity. Their moral lines are so jagged that they themselves often can not figure out where it is. They scream “my body my choice” when it comes to abortion, but foam out of the mouth, and turn rabid in public if a person is either unmasked, or unvaccinated. Tribal politics plays into it, but is not even the main cause by far. This is a complete moral destabilization of society being pulled off by Algorithms, and A.I. and people are becoming programmed in much the same way. It is literally as easy as A + B = See I fucking told you so, and here's how. If something is deemed offensive, and taken off of social media it is not because it is fake, it is because it is true and either pissed someone off, or frightened them. Like with Hunter Biden’s Laptop, it got labeled as disinformation and people had nearly forgotten about it. Then he did the most ultimate stupid thing that a man can do, he spurned a woman. His refusal to claim his child with her, and to pay her a descent amount of child support caused an entire Media, and Meme frenzy. Then the laptop comes back to haunt him, aside from the slew of Pictures of him and several questionably aged ladies of the night, and copious amounts of cocaine there were also Receipts, and Account information. Then there are the messages, the ones that link Joe with his sons business deals, and his business partners. If you are wondering how this ties in, it does.. just wait. This laptop, that got News Agencies like the New York Post banned on Twitter, was so offensive that when people spoke of it, their access to social media accounts just vanished, was labeled as Offensive Misinformation… just like everything else that was it got pulled off the Internet from every corner that it could be. Then it came back like a boomerang and we all got to learn all about the hypocrisy of why and how it was all covered up. But.. in the long run it was all real, and confirmed.
A= Deemed offensive
B= Cancelled, Blocked, Banned
Proven true
C = See I told you so.
Can you imagine the amount of comedy, and satire that would have come from that whole debacle had it not been deemed misinformation. The A.I. were used to weed it out, and remove all traces of it, while the other Algorithms buried it in a memory hole. The Idea alone of making controversial comedy in modern society is one that only certain minorities can contemplate.

How can we bring real comedy back? Comedy that is unapologetic, and is relatable can still be found in archives, but it is not being birthed like it used to.

I often come into contact with people who love to tell me I should go into standup.
I'm quick to remind them of where we are. We have discussions about Carlin, Kinison, Pryor, Dice, etc and every time, these people get frustrated at the thought of not having a next gen of people who just get up on stage, point out society's failings and make them remember to laugh and my advice to them always is, "If you're as tired of it as I am, you're going to have to remember one thing. Some people prove that when you lose one sense, you truly do gain another. At this point it's a scientific fact. These people have lost their sense of humor and gained a heightened sense of self-importance. It's what happens when you let the father do the breast-feeding. You have to tell them to shut up and keep it moving."
