Let's talk about Rights, and Health, and the Ass Holes that step on them.
The fact that this is even a debate simply amazes me. The FDA was created the year it was banned. Then Diabetes, Heart disease, and cancer reigned.
What am I talking about ?
It is something that European, Asian, and African descended people ALL have in common. Something that almost all if our ancestors over the past 500 years would have had in their homes as a medicine in some form or another. Some of them may have even had food products containing the seed oils, and other byproducts of it added to them before 1937. Much like soy is added to nearly everything today as either a preservative, color, or flavor.

When we sit here now, really looking at the situation, the people have spoken at least statistically 94% of the United States has recognized this plants importance. The NIH itself actually puts the Human Cannabis relationship back to 12,000 years ago in several different articles highlighting that since it's first appearance “so far” in history to the Altai Mountains, since then it has been dispersed among dozens of different humans migrations over the next 2,000 years. By 9,000 years ago the Scythian peoples were incorporating it into many facets of their culture, from the culinary to the religious uses we now have proof. The ECB or Human Endocannabinoid System developed over thousands of years, then almost over night in 1937 out of some warped social purification movement it was banned. Within 4 years America saw a 1,400% increase in patients with Diabetes, Cancer, High Cholesterol, and several other forms of chronic health issues. These were health problems that the FDA had a big part in investigating, and studying, also in making a huge profit off of them in the following decades.
In some fairly well studied, and documented medical papers from the mid 1940’s we can see the increases there plainly. By the late 1950’s we can see an explosion in children with type 1, and type 2 diabetes. But why? We can hypothesis all day, but the evidence is pointing towards the fact that they are the first generation born without their parents having an actively used ECB system. Modern studies show that an active ECB system helps in promoting a healthier state of Thyroid, and Pituitary stasis. These factors alone can cause changes that have a cascading series of very positive health effects. Including but not limited to lowering A-1C levels, regulating circadian rhythm, and greatly helping with depression, anxiety, plus from personal experience Adult ADD, and a slew of other mental health problems.
Why would they want plants out there that could help to lessen the severity of, or in some cases even alleviate these “chronic” illnesses altogether? They wouldn't, and for several different reasons neither did the Steel Barron's of early America.. primarily because Henry Ford had also just recently developed a brand new Hemp derivative plastic that he planned on using for Auto Body panels. So they had the Pharma industry, the steel industry, and you will see also the petroleum industry out to remove them. The 1920’s - 1930’s America was a place of developing science, and self sufficient citizens, during this time several people had discovered that you could make an Alcohol Ethenol Fuel with some of the Cannabis, and Hemp byproduct. So the blooming petroleum industry also had to step in and fight it. The versatility to be able to make Medicines, Plastics, and Fuel from Cannabis made it a triple threat.
Remember Reefer Madness?
Before it was Federally Prohibited in 1937, then further formally federally outlawed in 1939, this plant was a household staple. It's oils, and other valuable materials were literally in most of the products found in the over the counter health market. The movement against it started over a decade before the 1939 outlawing, several publications helped the government to spread the messages.

Let us not forget that the Government has always had certain publications like this to use as a tool for the propagation, and dispersal of their propaganda. As we can clearly still see in 2024 that has not changed. In fact it may have only gotten worse.
The debate now is just whether or not they are going to Tax you, or the dispensary. When you buy it recreationally you get taxed, but when it is done through Medical Cannabis companies, they pay the tax. In all honesty they just hike the prices up to offset the tax, so it's being paid by the consumer either way. Even in most of the states where it is now considered to be recreational and you can grow your own, the amount that you can grow is seriously limited. They have ensured by doing this, that there will be no more people making fuel from it.
What ever happened to American Freedom?
Oh, that's right…
The American government slowly convinced the people that freedom was dangerous, and that they really didn't want it. 🤬 🆓 🇺🇲
One day most of the Americans will stand back up, and reclaim their freedom. Until then may I suggest to you, that you live your life freely, just as long as it doesn't intrude, or interfere with other Free People or stop them from living their lives.
I'm not saying that you should break laws, but what I am saying is that constitutionally speaking, many of the current laws are repugnant. Therefore they (repugnant laws) are to be considered null and void. 🤷🏼♂️
Read that how you will.
I'm an American. I have read the U.S. Constitution, and understand it, the Bill of Rights clearly states my allowed freedoms. That is all.
Thank you for reading !

Why would they want plants out there that could help to lessen the severity of, or in some cases even alleviate these “chronic” illnesses altogether?
Because they thought that they could chemically create a fake type of the plant, and make money.
There's very little money in it if it can be grown in the backyard.
They make money off of you having to buy new seeds every year
If you don't have to buy new seeds, you can keep your money and they go broke.
