Fifteen-minute cities remind me of Prisons. They seek to deprive you of the freedom of movement and association.
They will not work in Texas. It's 30 miles between towns and hours between cities. Most small towns are dead, and there is nothing there.
The big cities are more like Cities from Judge Dredd. There need to be more stores or businesses to make 15-minute cities feasible.
Instead of cities, why not urge people to move back to the rural areas and make it feasible?
